The mountain summer in Lech is one of nature's spectacles: colourful alpine flowers, the bright blue sky. At sunset, you can witness the legendary Alpenglow.
Hiking brings man closer to nature, but also closer to himself. Outdoor hiking has a great number of benefits for both the body and the mind. It is healthy, relaxing and gives people peace and vitality, allowing them to wind down, dream, and contemplate. In Lech there are countless, well-marked hiking trails to suit all levels. They range from relaxing walks for your family to alpine climbs for mountaineers.
Summer in Lech has a lot to offer:
Lech is an insider tip for golf enthusiasts: In Zug, located at 1,500 m above sea level, there is a 19-hectare, handicap 9-hole golf course that both beginners and professionals can enjoy. The fairways are designed so that players have to play over the Lech River several times.
The so-called Green Ring hike: This circular trail will take you around the beautiful landscape of Lech am Arlberg in three one-day stages. A hike that will let you enjoy nature and be inspired by sagas and anecdotes.
The so-called Lechweg, along the river Lech, is a long-distance hiking trail (125 km) that guides hikers across one of the most stunning landscapes in Europe. The trail connects three regions and two countries with their traditions and histories. From the Arlberg region through the Tyrolean Naturparkregion Lechtal-Reutte up to the southern Allgaeu.
Sportpark Lech (fitness centre): This is the perfect place for indoor sports: cycling, tennis and other ball games (badminton, volleyball, football, handball, basketball, ping pong), 10-pin bowling, climbing, bouldering, slacklining.
